When Alina arrives in Athens, nothing is quite as glamorous as she has expected. This should be the kick-off for her international modelling career, after all! Competition is tough, not only for modelling jobs, but also for the heart of Lars, the Swedish guy who is loved by the camera – and presumably every female in Athens – and fiercely guarded by Pia, a very tall, very thin, very blond model. But Alina wants to stay out of men-trouble anyway, after all she’s not quite over the fact that Tom, her long time boyfriend has cheated on her. And that is just one of the reasons why she decided to pursue this chance for a modelling career over the summer – another one being the fact that it is the opposite of what her father expects her to do.
Dealing with competition and ambition, hostility and her own insecurities, helped by old as well as new friends, she finds out what to do with her life – and her heart.
